Heartbreaking at best! Attended a Bridal Shower given by the warm and welcoming family of the groom. The Sam’s club desserts were stale and sandwiches tasteless. Just as the bride began to open her gifts without forewarning the guests were asked to immediately move outdoors so they could set up for their next party. The gathering of lovely women dressed in hats and their Sunday best, quietly moved to the parking lot to watch the bride frantically unwrap gifts in the rain. Shame on them and their poor planning and lack of customer service. Save yourself the disappointment and book elsewhere.
Poor quality. This is hard to write as the primary server was charming and helpful, but that was where the charm ends. The tea room was overdressed and over-scented. Between the dried roses, the hyacinth candle and the woman in the ugh boots with the baseball cap’s perfume, the food was overwhelmed. The tea was nothing extraordinary and the food was a definite miss. Nothing delicate or flavorful at all. Whipped cream is not clotted cream, ladies. The details just weren’t there. Not worth the $20 per person price tag, for certain.
