Thrilled to see an original spot open up close to home. The decor and space is amazing–sort of country chic for lack of better words. We enjoyed the pork belly, mussels, pork tacos and fish spread. Very tasty. We had the strawberry corn cake for dessert and it was a yummy finish to the meal. Next time we’d like to try the deviled eggs, lamb meatballs and mac and cheese. Happy to hear they’ll be open for brunch in two weeks with lunch following shortly after.
I live in Lake Mary and was excited to see a new restaurant open up so close by. I went several times now and I think we’ve tried most the menu. I can say this is a solid restaurant. They are still new and working things out, but the staff is friendly and willing to make things right. My favorite appetizer so far was probably the mussel pot or the chicken sliders. The short rib tacos weren’t the best, but that was the only appetizer I didn’t like. As for the main dish I really loved the fried chicken and Johnny cakes, and the beef short ribs. Both fish dishes were good too. The only dish we sent back was the pesto pasta, but the chef asked to remake it and it came out perfect! As for dessert you can’t go wrong. My favorite was strawberry corncake. It’s a great savory sweet combination! The drink menu is also solid. My wife loved their passion fruit cider and the Moscow mule. I really liked the Tank 7 beer. Overall I really liked the experience and I will definitely be going back!
