The fried cheese appetizer and the gyros are so good. The service is great, everyone is very friendly. Perfect little mom and pop place. I highly recommend it!
The best Greek food in Lake Mary! I go there at least a couple times a week for lunch! Everything I’ve had on there menu is delicious! The owners and staff are all super friendly!
Excellent Meal AND Service. Like many other reviewers of this restaurant, we also discovered this place because we regularly eat at TooJays and many times noticed Greek Village just next door while leaving TooJays. One evening we walked over to the Greek Village to look at the menu after we had already eaten at TooJays. Even though we told the waitress, named Jessica, that we had already eaten and were only interested to see a menu, she was nevertheless extremely enthusiastic that we had come into the place to see what they offered. I found her to be genuinely excited that we might be a customer in the future, even though she wouldn’t be serving us that night. That left me with a very good feeling about how nice the service might be should I ever eat there. A few days later I decided to try Greek Village, mostly because I remembered how bubbly Jessica was. We were not disappointed at all with our dining experience. The food tasted very fresh, was served with what seemed like a genuine smile by Jessica, and everything was reasonably priced for the large portions we were served. The also make most of the desserts on premises and we enjoyed the galaktoboureko very much. We will definitely go back again.
Pretty Decent. I went to Greek Village for the first time today because I always see it when I go to TooJays. I am a greek salad fanatic so I figured a greek salad from a greek restaurant should be excellent! Well, unfortunately I wasn’t impressed by the salad. The pieces of lettuce were way to big- I had to cut them down. There was only two olives in my entire salad and there was hardly any fetta. On top of that, there was no salami or ham in the salad and it was an extra $3.50 to add any sort of meat. I will say though, that the white bean and vegetable soup was delicious! And the pita bread was to die for. I also received my to-go order in under 5 minutes. All in all, I will be back to try something new, just not the salad 🙁
Excellent Food. After shopping nearby, we looked for a restaurant and saw TooJays. As we drove in, we saw Greek Village next door and decided to try it. My wife and I were amazed at how good the food was. I tried the hummus appetizer, rack of lamb with salad and rice pilaf. She tried the open face gyro sandwich with Greek potatoes and salad. All the food was extremely good. The hummus, rack of lamb and potatoes were right up there with the best.On top of that, the service was excellent. I place high emphasis on service and cleanliness, and Greek Village met my standards. At first, I thought our table was dirty, but I was wrong, because it was left over water from previous wiping. I asked the waitress to clean the table. She must have thought I was blind, but she cleaned it right up! Extra tip for her!
YUM!. The Greek Village is is the best Greek food I have ever had. Authentic and fresh made. I have tried a number of items on the menu and several not on the menu specials on Friday nights…Ask if they have any specials when you go. Cannot miss with superb food and oustanding service! I will be back.
