This place is mediocre at best. Hot dogs have a weird after taste, fries are limp, and the mozzarella sticks were bland. There’s not a whole lot of options for people flying when it comes to airport food, but this should not be one of them.
Inedible Breakfast Sandwich. Yesterday I bought a breakfast sandwich at Nathan’s at the Orlando Airport and it was the soggiest greasiest sandwich I have ever had. I took one bite and threw it in the garbage beside their counter. It seemed like it was steamed and the sausage appeared uncooked. It was just awful.
Orlando International Airport (MCO). There are two Nathan’s Famous locations in MCO. This one is located in Airside 4 Hub (Gates 60-99).
Messy and greasy. I realized what I was getting into when I chose it, but I had never tried the place before and figured it wouldn’t hurt.Being from Cincinnati, home of the chili cheese coney, I found their use of a cheese whiz/nacho cheese sauce on the chili cheese dog to be particularly offensive.The chili, a tex-mex variety, was okay, the bun was standard, and the hot dog itself was pretty good. The fries I got with it were soggy and mushy.If they ditched the cheese sauce and used real cheese, it might be worth getting. Until then, don’t bother.
