Always delivers. Our go to rest on Sunday. Yummy selction. Waitresses are great. Comfort food. Not for those counting calories 😉
A really great place to eat. I have no idea from where these negative reviews have been coming. Been eating at the carving Station for YEARS…Long before they were the Carving Station, both locations (Lake Park & Lake Worth) were the Holiday House. The manager of the Lake park location, Spiro, bought BOTH places and has continued his tradition of providing delicious and high quality food at a very reasonable price….ALSO this price include as many trips to the actual carving station as desired – something the old Holiday House did not allow – except for an extra fee…I started going to the Carving Station/Holiday House about 20 – 25 years ago and the food is as good now as it was then – that’s a good thing to be able to state – consistency over a long period of time…The major improvement as far as I’m concerned is the ability of the customer to eat as much meat as he/she desires w/o having to pay extra. To me, the value is extraordinary – a whole dinner (I include lunch) from salad through soup to the main course and desert (beverage is extra, cheapskates can drink water) for just about $10 per person – my wife and I eat there when we go to the WPB Va Center – it’s our treat to ourselves – and usually costs less or slightly more than $20 for both, with beverage. Tuesdays are our favorite – Tuesday is Corned beef day…on other occasions Spiro will have a leg of lamb along with roast beef, turkey, ham and/or pork loin. The steam tables are kept filled with all sorts of goodies – vegetables, fresh made mashed potatoes, two or three types of gravy – and you can walk out feeling like you never want to see food again…until the next time…if you walk away hungry it’s YOUR OWN FAULT!!! Service is excellent with the girls taking care of the diners drinks without having to be asked…often times Spiro will come to the table to chat with my wife and I – he knows we’ve been regulars since she & I met in 2003. We heartily recommend the Carving Station to ALL our friends!!!
Good spot for lunch. Great selection of home cooking , i do whats called thanksgiving , turkey with all the fixings.Fair price also, they have a great desert which is extra and i usually wont indulge , but their cakes cant be beat.Extremely friendly staff.Go try it out!
New one opened on Jog and Lake Worth Road, SW side of the street. Neat and clean… Carved prime rib, lb, turkey, ham… Chicken Frances, dark meat turkey, meatballs, soup & salad, veggies, etc. All in all, not a bad deal.
Carving Station WPB, Fl. Soup wasn’t even warm, never mind hot. Corn and the cob was very tough, soft ice cream, was too soft. The carver should of been fired. Very rude man, with a terriable attitude. Pork roast very dry, and he sliced such a small piece, that we asked for a little thicker piece, of prime rib, he said he wasn’t allowed to. Only thing that my party of 3 liked was the salad. You can get good salad any where.
The lamb, stuffing, and tators can’t go wrong. The pie and cake bar is lovely!
