Being new to the area, my husband and I decided to try Casper’s for Sunday brunch. We were both in the mood for eggs benedict and the owner/operator suggested the eggs benedict sardou. They were delicious! A little more background… the place has a cute, outdoor patio complete with water feature and potted garden. The owner also did all of the waiting and cooking, and although there were no other patrons at the time, it took quite a while to get our food. This was fine with us as we had no particular place to be and were simply enjoying each others’ company on a beautiful, Florida morning. Sometime during the preparation of the meal, we watched as the owner/cook came out to his little potted garden to pick some fresh rosemary, presumably for our meals. Sure enough, the rosemary along with sea salt and some of the finest tasting olive oil I’ve ever tasted was used to season my husband’s breakfast potatoes. I had my eggs benedict with a side of cheese grits, which I think were more cheese than grits, just like a like them. And I never thought of pairing eggs benedict with artichoke, but combined with the hollandaise sauce, the meal was nothing short of magnificent.In summary, this place is a gem. But do not come here if you are in a hurry. Good food takes time to prepare. And I highly recommend this place for some good food.
Heavenly Cafe Experience from start to finish . So happy that I have moved next door to heaven’s cafe. This place offers an amazing experience of food, coffee and personality. Truly – their coffee is amazing and they even serve a true Cubano coffee that is delicioso They’re sandwiches, panini’s and daily specials are quite outstanding. The chef checked in on us and personally thanked us for coming in. I am very pleased to have a new spot to eat that I can literally walk to to my foodie friends – you are fools if you do not come here for bites to eat!!!! My new spot!!!
Delicious Meal – Highly Recommend. This was such a wonderful spot for dinner. Giuseppe the chef prepared a beautiful meal that felt like dining at a great friend’s house who also happened to be a Paris chef. We enjoyed some amazing soup, several tapas (Highly recommend the andouille sausage with mustard sauce), and the beef bourguignon entree was comforting and unctuous. We can’t wait to go back and hope many more will try it and return so the area doesn’t lose this perfect spot.
