Was not as bad as people say.. The reason I went here was they had a Mongolian grill and I had a 2 for 1 dinner coupon. The place is big and old. They had the name of the restaurant on the chairs as if somebody might steal them. They had plastic sheets covering their tables with a sign ensuring they were clean. Items on the buffet were to the right heat (there were only 6 people eating) and there were sufficient amounts. There was nothing outstanding in any of those items. The Mongolian grill was great. It was well presented and lots of fresh meat. The low price and the grill were the only thing good… Service was OK only
Not good. All the food was dried out and crusty and I regret not scoping the food out before sitting down. As we were eating our first plates of grease fried rice and no-crab rangoon, the only decent items available, rather than make some fresh dishes the cook was taking the old pans and simply reheating their contents. Wasn’t expecting much from a Chinese buffet in the middle of Lake Wales but this was rough.
Varied Chinese and Mongolian. This place has a large menu of favorite oriental dishes, and a nice atmosphere to enjoy them in. They normally offer a buffet of favorites, but you might prefer to order something fresh-made from the menu. Be brave. The Mongolian grill is interesting, and you can choose from the various ingredients and watch them sizzle. They also offer ice cream with the buffet, if that sways your choice!
