Decent food and atmosphere. I’m not quite sure why Manny’s is always so busy, considering the food and service are decent at best. I guess that’s what you get when you live in a small town without too many options.Their salad and rolls are great. The entrees are mediocre, including the steak. I ordered a Filet Mignon and was given what looked to be a NY Strip. The server assured me it was a Filet. This is a steakhouse right on par with an Outback – they call themselves a steak house, but Ruth’s Chris, they are not.Manny’s would be a fine place to hang out and order a burger if there wasn’t a 45 minute wait. It’s just not worth it.
Best ribs anywhere. We always bring friends from out of town to Manny’s and the ribs are always the best tasting anywhere. Our friends always ask to go back to Manny’s when they come back to visit.I love the service, food and price.

We came on a Saturday night. They were very busy with several parties and yet the service was outstanding. The huge family style salad bowl had a terrific garlic ranch dressing. The rolls were hot with wonderful cinnamon butter. My husband’s baby-back ribs were falling off the bone tender with an exceptional BBQ sauce. His side of garlic mashed potato loaded with cheese, sour cream, butter, and bacon ruined regular potatoes for him for life. The waitress explained the potatoes are all freshly made in house. My sirloin was thick and tender and a great value and the sweet potato was a perfect side. Worth driving for! We were traveling from Jacksonville and will try to come back this way in the future.
Manny’s steakhouse is one of the best restaurants that I have eaten in. It is always crowed, which shows that am not alone in my opinion. Each steak is always cooked to perfection with just the right amount of seasonings. The steaks are so tender that you can cut it with your fork, a melt in your mouth experience. There is a bottomless blow of salad, with onions, cucumbers, peppers carrots, ice berg and romaine lettuce topped with a dressing of choice. The service is superb, always friendly never having to wait on or have to find your waitress; she is always right there when you need her. To give an example my daughter, whose coke was a little below half in her glass, reached over to get a drink and it was gone. The waitress had come by and took it for a refill. We never had to ask. You can set and watch the waitress they work as a team never in competition as in most restaurants. The owner is always there he never misses a day. Last year he took only one day off which was Christmas. His wife and two daughters also work there. Manny’s is not like most restaurants that have open in the Lake Wales area. When they open there great, good food, then they go downhill from there in everything. Manny’s is by far the best restaurant in my area.
