Absolutely atrocious experience from beginning to end. Made a reservation for 7:30 and arrived 30 minutes early. Checked in with the hostess and received our pager. Our party was not seated until one hour after our reservation time. We were given the excuse that the hostess had not written down our pager number, only after we had checked in at the hostess stands multiple times regarding the status of our table. Upon being seated at an inside table, which is quite contradictory as to why anyone goes to Bennys in the first place, half of the menu was unavailable, and took until after the kitchen was closed until our food was delivered. Overall this was far from the rave experience that I would expect from a highly reputable location. The response from the manager was exceptionally rude, and walked away without any sort of correction or resolution whatsoever. To a table of seven female medical professionals, it was nothing short of demoralizing and belittling. Kudos to Mike our server, who was the one shining star through this experience.

This was a great place for the scenery… which was absolutely beautiful on the ocean!! The food was so-so. Really average and I was not happy that a few pigeons were inside walking around in search of food. The staff was really nice, prices were decent and affordable. If you want to eat on the beach, have huge portions of food, and great ocean views this is the place for you. We had the chocolate chip pancakes, the big breakfast and the breakfast sandwich.
