Well, I have to say this was one of the best meals that my family has had out ina long while. The food was very authentic and served piping hot. The service was attentive and very friendly and we loved the cozy atmosphere. It made my daughter’s birthday dinner just perfect… We will definitely be back!
Maybe I don’t get it.. Mr. La Rocca’s review is authoritative since he’s a chef. I must have had the wrong dishes, or maybe I just don’t know how the food should be, because I have had only a few visits to Italy–where I never had a bad meal, though I didn’t know in advance to go here or avoid there. Anyway, I thought the food was just OK, not worth the prices, though the prices weren’t that high. But I would listen to Mr. La Rocca before I’d listen to me!
I arrived on a saterday night without reservations. Tables were not available so we sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly and attentive. I’m a cook, Italian, and rarlely pleased with Italian food out. We had a warm pear salad, chiopino, and veal Marsala all delicious and cooked to perfection. The squid ink linguini put it over the top, having eaten recently at Apricus I would put the food on an even par for half the price.
