Service is horribly slow. Oyster Rockefeller was far below par. We also had salads, twin lobster, and fried oysters. It was all just okay. Not real good. The menu promotes local seafood, yet when we asked the waitress if the twin lobster was warm water lobster, (this would make sense for local to be warm water lobster, since it’s in Florida) she said the lobster was from Canada and the oysters are from Texas. Sorry, that is not local. Bad service from beginning to end.
Food service slow & once I finally got served the sides were cold. Seared tuna was decent.More of a sports bar than restaurant.
Good Food!. Daves is a good local place with a good restaurant and bar atmosphere, great fried shrimp, and a wide selection of beer. A casual and friendly place on the avenue.
Just Gets Better Everytime18 May, 2012I Like It doesn’t say enough. Best restaurant in Florida. Great menu and specials, the freshest fish and raw bar anywhere and the armosphere is unparalleled. The staff is terrific – hey Jenny – and ownership clearly works to make the customer experience perfect. Try the oysters or the popcorn shrimp with plum sauce. PO-boys, fish Reuben’s and fish sandwich specials are sooo good. Take your whole family. You can’t miss with this wonderful place.15 Apr, 2012Brilliant Raw Bar and Restaurant. I am a big fan of sea food, so I thought this place would be right up my ally. I stopped by this place before work a few weeks ago and was highly dissapointed. The waitress was rude and very tacky. Her shorts were way too short (at one point I saw her butt cheek when she was picking something up) and when she was chewing her gum, it fell out of her mouth and onto the table! Really?! She quickly took my order (coconut shrimp) and wasn’t seen again until I was trying to pay the check and flagged her down. When my food arrived (brought by someone else who didn’t say a word to me, and nearly knocked my drink onto my lap) I was not impressed. It was probably the worst shrimp I’ve ever had! I couldn’t even finnish it. I know it may sound like I’m a complainer, but I’m really not. This just was an awful expierence. I will not be returning.
Great service, great food! We had a fantastic server named Jenni, she had a lot of knowledge of the menu and was very nice. She made our dinning experience fantastic.
Super Place. The absolute best seafood and grIll in Florida. Great menu, superb food, wonderful staff and a great atmosphere. Menu has something for everyone. Our family will always be back.
