Authentic!!! Delicioso!. I waundered into Zapata’s a couple of years ago and I have been going back ever since! I lived in California for many years and when I moved to Florida; I missed authentic, good Mexican food.Finally, my soul and my belly are now satisfied. Homemade corn tortillas, perfectly seasoned beef, pork & chicken and plenty of love make Zapata’s the type of restaurant that keeps you coming back. I just had 3 soft tacos — carnitas, chorizo & carne asada — Wow!!! This is the REAL DEAL — no tex-mex here.Their food is excellent and the price is right — 5 tacos for $11! I would be willing to drive for 30 minutes in order to eat at Zapata’s….I’m ever so glad I only live 5 minutes away!Gracias para comida delicioso!
Great Mexican. My BF and I recently tried this place and we were pleasantly surprised. I ordered 2 Sopes with rice and beans and he ordered the Chimichanga. We both didn’t speak a word while we were feasting because there were no words to describe the amount of happy our taste buds and bellies were feeling. And I speak for 2 since I have a little baby I’m feeding in my belly as well. Needless to say all three of us were happy! Definitely try this place, you won’t be disappointed!!

The best Mexican in south Florida. The owner is there cooking. Everything is handmade including tortillas.
