Awful staff. While the food is generally good, the customer service is some of the worst I’ve ever seen. Last time I went there they handled everyone else’s orders before mine, even though I was there first. Today, I called in an order which they took down and said 10 mins until it’s ready for pickup. I go there and they say they can’t find my order and don’t remember taking my phone order. How hard is it to serve customers in order and when they order something? Is it hard to read, to write on a paper when someone orders something? Every single time I go there, there’s some problem. Not spending my money here anymore and spreading the word about the less than par service.
Lakeland icon and earned it. Little walk up window with great fish sandwich and friendly staff. Go early or after lunch hour or wait a few extra minutes as they stay busy. Worth the wait.
Too salty for us. We love this place, the people who own it, etc. and everything about it except the fish batter is way too salty for us. Wish they would do something about this because people can always add more salt if they want. We still go there once in awhile, but WOW, they sure love salty!
Perfect Lunch. Great, lightly-breaded, firm and flakey, massive fish sandwich served by the founders daughter (with the sweetest, infectious laugh). Wash it down with the homemade lemonade. We loved this place.

They have a table now!. Before, if buying your fantastic lunch here, you’d have to sit at the lake or library to enjoy it. Now, they have a picnic table, which in my past three experiences, had no one sitting at them! Wonderful news to all of you who love this place and don’t want to eat in your car!
Mister Fish = Lakeland. Mister Fish is a Lakeland institution. The food is delicious, the staff is very friendly. My personal favorites are the corn fritters and fried mac n cheese. If you’re looking for a great lunch spot, this is it. Call your order in ahead of time, pick it up, and enjoy it on one of the tables around Lake Morton.
