I joke with my office staff that despite the fact that no one can actually identify what type of fish Mr. Fish used, it is unequivocally the best PoBoy-style fish sandwich in a 50-mile radius! The fish is perfectly fried with a light cornmeal and flour coating. Whether the fish basket or the sandwich it is NEVER disappointing.
Be warned: this is basically a walk up food stand with a single picnic table as the seating area. That being said, it is NOT to be missed when visiting Lakeland. Get the fish sandwich, add cheese if you want, but otherwise dont try to mess with it! All the sides are great, but the corn nuggets are my favorite. Enjoy!
