I am from Massachusetts and I have been searching for an old-school Chinese restaurant in Florida. Some of the items were delicious and tasted the way that they do back home, others not so much. But this is certainly the closest thing I have found in 10 years in Florida. To start off they don’t have a full bar so no scorpion bowl or headhunter to be found here. They do however have beer and wine. They also serve hot tea which was very nice. we ordered the PuPu platter to start and it came with the traditional fried shrimp which were a tad greasy, eggrolls which were delicious, beef teriyaki was good, spareribs delicious. My friend ordered the wonton soup, overloaded with cabbage and unnecessary other items pork etc. That was definitely a thumbs down. The special house fried rice was practically perfect missing a key ingredient, sprouts, but otherwise the best fried rice around. Not just the regular old peas and carrot junk you find at the strip mall Chinese places. I ordered the beef and scallop dish was a mistake I’m not sure with the weird flavor was but I just did not like it at all. My friend ordered the sweet and sour shrimp it was just OK. Probably would have been better as sweet and sour chicken. Overall it hit the spot for just what I was looking for old school restaurant and I would definitely go back again!

House soup is a meal!. Very good and always my first request when I’m sick.
I always drive from my hometown 30 minutes away when I want Chinese food!
Reivew. This is without question the best Chinese restaurant in the Central Florida. The owners are always present, and the menu items are all outstanding. Considerably different than most Chinese places, this one leans more toward the SanFrancisco style. Peking duck is outstanding.You will not be disappointed.
