Have been here four times and have yet to be disappointed. We usually share the Ruben. They divide it in the kitchen for us and give us two sides of slaw and two pickles. It is more than enough food. The first decent Ruben I have had in Florida! Now if I could find a good gyros?
Food was good and the selection was more than sufficient, but the service was terrible. Took forever to get the food and some of it was cold. Waitress was indifferent at best.
Ok Food. Over priced and order was wrong. Service was horrible.
Had breakfast and the food came out cold and over cooked. The sausage patties where hockey pucks and the waffle was hard and dry. I guess the only good thing is that our kids liked their kids meals. I would stay away from this low quality food restaurant.
Should have read the reviews before I went. Place is waaayyyy over priced. Ordered a bowl of soup that cost almost $5 and would not even fill a small coffee mug. Spent $15 on sandwich and soup and it was average at best. Cole slaw was the worst that I have ever had, can’t imagine why anyone would want to eat it. Not one single good review has been posted. Maybe I expected to much, born and raised in the south, so if this is what a New York deli is like let em stay in New York. Could have eat at Silver Ring for half the price.
First up the Cheese Blintzes which came with a dish of canned blueberry pie filling. Which was not great but the best in show for entire meal. Next was the Loaded Latkes which were the broken potato pancakes fried up semi greasy. Our main meal I ordered the TooJay Classic on challah with the potato pancake as a side. I got the Classic on rye and fries. The less than knowledgeable waitress took it back and return with the same plate with the bread changed haphazardly and still covered with fries that I did not want. I asked again for my potato pancake and got it 10 minute later. My partner got the Pot roast, Mash Potatoes, green beans, and Matzo ball soup. The Pot roast was dry and flavorless, Mash Potatoes were ok and the green beans were awful. The Matzo Ball soup tasted like Campbell’s chicken broth with a sad excuse for a Matzo ball in it. It was suppose to come with her meal but they tried charging on the bill. We will not return like I usually give new places a second chance. To over priced for lackluster food and terrible service.
