My French Cafe was one of the most quaint and inviting treasures in the Windermere area. The ambience reflects almost perfectly what it is like to experience an authentic Parisian bistro, with a spacious outdoor patio to match. Everywhere you turn you are reminded of the charms of France, not to mention the food!They have limitless amounts of choices, and here you can find the fabled cronut which is a delightful combination of a donut and croissant. All hot dishes arrived in short amount of time, steaming with intoxicating smells. The pastries taste as if they were cooked merely moments before eating them. The staff showed me a beautiful familial-like kindness as soon as I entered the door, and would check on my groups wellbeing around the clock.Excellent food! Excellent ambience! Excellent service!
Authentic French baked goods. I would know since I moved from France when I was 17! The food is delicious and authentic but their service not so good… I like to go there to get stuff to go, and not talk to the grumpy folks behind the counter.
This place was a 20 minute drive from the universal studios area. WORTH EVERY MINUTE OF THE DRIVE. I have never been outside the Disney / universal area before and the drive here was beautiful. Don’t let the plastic trays fool you. This place is legit.
Great tasting cafe…. Wonderful food and coffee. The service is exceptional. However the owner and his wife are not friendly or nice people. Keep in mind who you are supporting. Life is too short to give such negative people, no matter how good the food is. Think twice about it.
Worst case scenario of servuce, quality and price.. If you want to have your order messed up, have bad service while looking at the saggy pants and cam underwear of the weird haircut waiter, then go. Otherwise, you are better off getting a croissant (the only good thing there) to go and enjoy it at home.
Very tasty bakery! The prices are a little on the high side but so worth it! Also there is plenty options to choose from. Depending on the day the staff can be a bit rude, but other than that, there is noting to complain about
Pastries are good and especially the breakfast croissants. Coffee is mediocre though. They don’t even have a display of what they are brewing.
