Not Recommended. Poor quality of food. Not worth the time spent. Small and dark restaurant, lacks customers.

Rating 7/10 Cute French res…. Rating 7/10Cute French restaurant. Restaurant is tacked in office complex. There is cute outdoor tables. Service were good. Food was good but not fantastic. We are super picky about steak, so it was little chewy for us. But flavor was good. There is cooking class, and good wine paring course menu.

Excellent!. Over the years, we have eaten at Cafe Largo 8 or 10 times. Everything we have had has always been delicious. This is a small locally owned restaurant where the chef/owner has to be certain the food is terrific — and it is.Portions are ample, service is very good — so if you want French cuisine in the Tampa Bay area, you must come here.

Not what we had expected. We went on a Tuesday night. It is located in a remote section of a strip center off Indian Rocks Rd. There was only one other 2-top occupied. So there were only four diners in the restaurant. Since we were in the midst of Tropical Storm Debby, they had stored all of their outdoor patio furniture inside the restaurant behind a see-through screen. Considering that this was supposed to be an upscale French restaurant, we were stunned. For dinner, we started with the pate sampler which (though delicious) was poorly presented and did not come with any sturdy variety of baguette to spread the deliciousness. Next and the biggest mistake of our evening was to order the blue crab soup with absinthe. It was very very thin with less than a 1/4 teaspoon of crab in it and it had a somewhat medicinal aftertaste. After two sips, I wanted to stop. The house greens came on a small plate with a nonexistent dressing and some very good beets but mine was served with a bad tomato. The highlight of our dinner was our entrees. We had a special of pistachio dusted sea scallops and the Chateaubriand with bearnaise. The scallops were large and perfectly cooked and the beef was wonderfully med. rare with bearnaise that was both delicious and unbroken. The starch and veggies were in very small portions. For dessert, we had the fruit tart and the chocolate mousse. Both were satisfactory but unimaginative. After years of restaurant dining, I have come to rely on the value of having impeccably clean bathrooms in a fine eating establishment, however these were atrocious. I realize that our waiter and the cook were the only employees present, but still. For this kind of money, we should of had a top notch experience with a view other than patio furniture stacked in one side of the dining room and an attentive waiter who would ask about the quality of our meal. We have learned our lesson and will not return. Please be cautious over these other reviews with only one review recorded…they are the owner’s family! Try the Black Pearl for a better experience!

Two thumbs up!. I was so impressed with the food that I would go back again. It was a great find and I will tell everyone in our condo to try this restaurant. It was very friendly and family run. The TiraMiSu is homemade and i could go back just for that. Oh, it was very, very clean too!

Worth every penny!. Excellent service, variety of entrees were all excellent. Food, bread, and desserts were all very fresh! The tv’s playing music video’s were a great touch. Listening and watching Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Andrea Bocelli was a really nice touch expected in a place like NYC. Will visit again definitely!

Very worth it!. From the minute we walked in, we just loved everything about the place. The bar alone is a show piece with glass tiles. Once seated by our friendly hostess we were greeted immediately by fresh baked bread. The bread basket is very nice and complimentary. Our server was there to get our drink order and recommended we try the Friday Night Bellini special. For dinner. I had lobster stuffed with crab and it was most delicious. Our server was perfect, kept drinks and bread full, attentive, but not overbearing.22 Nov, 2011A+++. When we first entered Cafe Largo we noticed the bright, open layout. Also the choices on the menu appealed to the most picky eater of our group, my daughter. She only eats chicken dishes, & was amazed at the number and varieties available to her. The portions were pleasantly large & we had sufficient leftovers for a nice lunch the next day. The wait staff was very attentive without being either overbearing. When we are in the area again we will surely be back to sample some of the items that we were not able to during our 1st trip. Overall I give an A +++++ rating.
