How about some service…?. 3 waitresses standing around chit chatting, one of the waitresses said it was okay to sit at the table we chose. 4 tables occupied all eating food and we sit down. nothing brought to us, no menus. no drink orders taken. we wait about 5 minutes and another group come in and they sit down. no sooner did they sit down but coffee cups and urns were headed their way. we were still waiting. they can’t claim they were busy…not quite sure what their problem was, however, we got up and walked out. will never go to this place again.

MEH Too!. One reviewer wrote: The food is amazing, Another used amazing in their title to their reviews.Another Titled Feels Like Home, Well not my home and another wrote, Surprisingly Good. Yes, it used to be but now is Surprisingly If It Is Good. To start, the food is NOT amazing. Its good with its quirks. Some things are not supposed to be soaked, or floating in oil/grease. Other things need to be cooked better and a lot of things are like nursing home food. Nursing home food is food that is not at all seasoned. Its that way because elderly digestive systems often cannot handle spicy food, so adding seasonings is left to the diner, at the table. Elderly folks dine here so I can understand the lack of seasoning. Having been a customer since the early 1980’s, there has been a lot of changes. When the dad was there, it was strict enforcement of food quality, food preparation and customer service. The food (before preparation) is still good, but it is what does or doesnt happen in the kitchen. Plainly, it used to be better in the 80’s.Some of their best entrees are gone and replaced with run of the mill food. Seems like family recipes have given way to food service canned food, poured in a pan and heated. Same stuff you make at home because it is fast, easy and a guaranteed flavor. Service is lessened because when it was mostly all family working there ir was very good but not the wait staff are off the street and well, there no family pride in what they do, they just do what they have to.The review titled Meh – (Liz) comes close to the place.

LOVE IT!!!. We have been eating here since we moved to Florida over 10 years ago. The food is consistently good and the service is great! Everyone makes us feel like family. We recently had family visiting from out of state and had over 10 people for breakfast. The entire staff made us all laugh and made sure we had excellent service and food. Can’t say enough GOOD STUFF about this place! Thanks to Steve, Mia, Mary, Juan, Holly and the Gang!!!

Poor Customer Service. The majority of the staff is fine, but there is one particular gentleman who is older that greets the guests as they arrive. This guy has the worse customer service skills that me and my wife have ever seen. Hes completely rude, he makes snide remarks, and he is definitely not a good representation of the restaurant itself. I own 2 companies and I would never have someone like him working for me…ever. We have avoided the restaurant for the time being due to his ignorant personality and to avoid any issues from escalating. Other than that, the food is good, the prices are good.

I LOVE THIS RESTURANT!. I go to this restaurant every Sunday after church. The service is very friendly and you feel like your at home. The food is amazing, and if you like spinach, than the Popeye omelet is for you!
