Mom should stay away from regular customers!Let me start off by saying, I converted from a regular Starbucks user to The Haus. The son is also a partner and quickly learned my name. I have been going there at least twice a week at a minimum and frequently for the last 6-7 months and have one of my employees meet me there every Monday morning. I have also brought several groups of 4 there for lunch and provide continued recommendations for them, as I am local to the place.This am, the mother of the place sat down at my table with my employee and I and asked us not to move the tables together anymore. Ok, fair enough. At that point she began to speak to my guest and say that he needs to by something there every time he comes and not just sometimes! Mind you, I buy coffee and breakfast there every time I am there including this am. As I look around I notice that there are maybe 8-10 people in the whole place that holds probably around 35-40, and I am being told that my guest does not buy enough??? Bad call. I go there so often that the son knows me by name. I am one of the few regulars that this business has on a Monday morning, and I have just been told that I am not buying enough? The coffee is decent, and the food is average. This being said, I would recommend going somewhere else, as the mother has no idea what loyalty is. I am sad to say that I will tell this story to anyone that asks moving forward. I am writing this while sipping my second coffee of the morning, back at the Starbucks down the street. Who might I add, is happy to have my business.
I often visit this cozy coffee shop to relax, have a tea or coffee and read, talk, or fiddle around online. I’ve felt very welcomed from my first visit to my 20th visit. I wish I had discovered it sooner. Superbly warmly decorated and lit. Lots of creativity brewing in that place. I look forward to my next visit. It’s really my go-to place to hang and relax.
