Indian Spices, Great Prices. When my Prego jarred whole spices get low, it is time to make a pilgrimage to Mahal Bazaar on East Bay in Largo. With two of Madhur Jaffrey’s Indian recipe books and a masochistic taste for heat and spice, I had to find an outlet that offered reasonable spice prices.The Bazaar also offers bags of basmati rice, jars of exotic chutneys, dried papadums, various lentils, legumes, and freezers full of the panoply of the other Indian breads and frozen prepared curries.
