Very tasy pizza overall. I am giving it a solid 8 out of 10 for local competition score.Mike’s is very good. Sauce is plump, with a pleasant mild sweetness. The pepperoni was flavorful. The crust could be thinner for me but it was good and on the medium side. It was well cooked, cheese was of quality and lots of air bubbles in the crust. The taste made us eat beyond hunger and then we took a Sunday football food coma nap on the couch.I would reccomend this Pizza. Still on the search for a 10 though.
Great pizza especially for FL. It’s hard to find good pizza here. Main restaurant had a cool bar type atmosphere with plenty of tv’s. Get the garlic knots for sure. If you don’t get a beer flight go next door and get one; you get to try 4 samples of beer for $7. Or try one of the 47 on tap! Cool spot!
Yeah, Mike’s!!. Good New York style pizza and great antipasta salad. What more do we need? This place is small, but has a neighborhood feel the sister restaurant on 49th street is missing. I love the staff here; they work in such tight quarters and they still work efficiently and with a smile. I told the manager that if his antipasta salad met my standards, I’d give him a great review, and dang if it didn’t!! So, good bye to the chain’s of pizza disappointments, so long to the yucky crust, and HELLO to a great pizza and dining experience!
Great Pizza. Probably my favorite place to get Pizza. I must be candid however, and say that I believe the staff is racially biased, especially against blacks. I observe flagrant differences in how minorities are treated when they eat here. Not from the owner, but from his waitresses. If you are non-white, you my want to get your food to go.
Best traditional pizza in the area. Large beer selection. HDTVs also.
What a wonderful place, right when I parked they came over to greet my boyfriend and I. We were brought over to their garden area and waited on immediately. It started to drizzle so they brought out an umbrella for our table and we ate comfortably watching television. Food was great and prices were reasonable. We asked for a to go box because we couldn’t possibly fit it all and they gave us a free large brownie wrapped to go. Love the atmosphere and the personable staff.
Great Pizza, Nice Atmosphere. Went in on Monday night. Sat at the bar. Brandy did a great job waiting on us. Ordered the Rasta Far Rye Ale from Blue Point Brewery. Very good. Had the Italian Beef Pizza, which was awesome. GF had ziti & we split an order of Garlic knots. Talked to a nice couple from Canada, they enjoyed everything also.Will recommend to friends & definitely will be back!
