Horrible Experience!!. Its very cheap, which is the only good part. I got the grilled ham and cheese. The ham had gristle in it. I made it deluxe (which means they give you some dried out french fries and 2 bites of dry, tasteless cole slaw). I had to cover the fries with ketchup so they would go down my throat, but could only eat 3 or 4.The servers acted like they were doing me a favor by waiting on me. It seemed like they knew everyone in there, and because I wasnt a regular, they wanted nothing to do with me.The worst part though is that they dont take cards. I didnt find out until I had to pay. My meal was $5 and I had $2 on me. I had to go around the corner to get money out of my credit card (which costs me $10 + ATM fees to do) JUST to pay the other $3. So I spent $18 on this horrible meal!!! The guy at the register said there is a sign on the door…Im sorry..I figured it was 2013, and everyone excepted cards! I guess I was supposed to know that before entering, or I need to start reading every sign posted up everywhere so I can make sure I dont make that mistake again.I heard good things about this place before I tried it, now I am not sure what everyone was talknig about…It felt more like I was intruding on a family dinner and I was the unwelcome guest 🙁
Not good. Used to go here every Sunday morning because the food was reasonable and it was cheap. That was until one of the waitresses accused my husband and I of stealing her $2 tip from the counter. We spent the rest of our meal being questioned by her and recieving dirty looks. We decided to go there again because we hadnt done anything wrong, but service is hit and miss depending who you get. The staff bitch about each other to customers, we dont always get what we ordered, and cold toast isnt tasty.
It’s a good place if you like old fart bland tasting food that reminds me of a nursing home taste. Been here twice FIRST & LAST
A Must for Breakfast. Best breakfast in town. Everything you order is done to perfection. Fast, friendly service and the price is easy on your pocket! Can get busy weekends…eat at the counter!04 Mar, 2012Good eats!. Can’t miss on the food….Fast, friendly service……..sit at the counter if you’re in a real hurry! Best grits in town. Go early on sunday…..miss the church crowd.
Great Place to eat!. This is a friendly neighborhood restaurant, with great food and services. I eat here with friends every single week! Reasonable prices and daily specials make it a the best. They are only open for breakfast and lunch, not dinner.
For the price you can’t beat this place. Keep it simple and relax. Great family. Good service.
Sunday morning breakfast, lots of people, good service but only marginal food quality
