Absolutly FRENCH.. Read reviews of this restaurant all over and decided to give it try.It was better than expected.I went on a thursday night and it was kind of quiet, only few tables. We ordered for our appetizers we had the brie pastry and the escargots in a puff pastry, so good and so light, we then had the pork bistro and the NY strip and the sauces on those where amazing, it comes with scalloped potatoes and mix vegetables. For our dessert we shared a apple bistro crepes flambe with rum, yum.We had a great dining experience and the chef is very pleasant.Make a reservation as the place is quite small.
What a find. Everything about this place is right on the money, the service so friendly, the chef so talented and always ready to share a story, and the food… We have been to many french restaurant and I must say that it is one of the best meal we ever had.Duck a l’orange perfectly prepared and the Brie appetizer just melt in your mouth and the dessert I had the Nutella banana strawberry wiped cream and it was just the perfect final touch to finish a perfect evening.I recommend this gem if you are around, well worth it.
Disappointing with a capital D. Disappointing in all respects from atmosphere to food. Will not return and would urge others to avoid.
French For Sure.. This place has it all. Crape’s are great. French hotcakes I call them but they are made quite differently. They have the famous French desserts you read, see and hear about and nothing … NOTHING is either sugar free or diet about them. French coffee as well.A good Date Night place to go.
We are here last night at a rehearsal dinner. I had never heard of it before, but it was delicious. The food was good (the pre-dinner bread, the poulet a la crme, and the crme brle were all fantastic). The only thing I didn’t really love was the salad (basic house salad–iceberg lettuce, tomato, cucumber, red onions), but the dressing on it was great (a variation of a balsamic vinaigrette. It was different than I had ever tasted). The poulet a la crme was really good, but kinda heavy. I wished I could finish it, but I got full fairly quick as wanted to make sure I had room for dessert and I don’t regret it at all. We will probably try this again for a date night!
One of the best restaurants in Tampa Bay! Fresh ingredients perfectly prepared. All combined with outstanding, friendly service.
Perfection. We when to that super bistro because some of our friends keep praising this place. What a surprise, the building is kind of incognito but as soon as you step in you know it is going to be amazing, the place is so clean and well decorated. The waitress (owner wife of the chef) is doing an incredible job.We ordered escargot and cheese pastry as appetizers, it was so good, the flavors, wow.We then got our dinner, after a complimentary and yet very nice house salad, I had the duck a l’orange that was prepared to perfection with scalloped potatoes and veggie mix. My wife had the salmon crepe and it was just perfect as well. For desert we shared a lemon crepe with whipped cream. The Chef stopped by our table and has such a passion for what he does and like to share it, he has something to say to all the guest with such a joie de vivre.Thank you we will definitely be back.Make reservation as the place is small.
