Fantastic for breakfast!!!. This place has been a staple of the Largo/Clearwater area for as long as I have lived here. My Grandma, and Grandpa took us there, my mom and I used to go all time. Now, I find this place to be my Sunday morning breakfast place. It is VERY busy, but there is a reason. First off, I have rarely ever gotton to the bottom of a cup of coffee before it gets filled up, the service is very good considering how crazy this place gets. The food is some of the best around, and the price is incredible for what you get. The most expensive thing on the breakfast menu is 2 eggs, a grilled pork chop, and toast with your choice of home fries, grits (THESE ARE INCREDIBLE!!!) or sliced tomato for $6-$7. My favorite things are the 2 eggs, sliced gyro meat, grits, and toast, or the bannana or chocolate chip pancakes. (For an incredible experience get both in your pancakes) If you go on Sunday, expect a line, as this place is very popular (especially with the older folks) I have never been there and not gotton a handshake from the owner, he is as busy as everyone else, filling coffee, & making sure everything keeps moving.I would highly recommend this place for breakfast to anyone.
Great for lunch. This place is run by a Greek man and the food is excellent. The turkey is fresh, not cold cut stuff. I go there often for lunch and they get me in and out so I can get back to work. The Turkey club is terrific. On Tuesdays they have Avgolemono soup- a greek chicken-egg-lemon soup that is delicious. Prices are good, specials are many and the place is busy. I like a busy place because I know the food is more likely to be fresh. They are open for breakfast too, I just haven’t tried it for breakfast.
