Over priced, poor quality.. I don’t live in florida, i’m only here during the winter and last year when I came across this place it was fantastic I got chicken fried rice, baby shrimp and sesame chicken for only 18$ they also threw in white rice and what seemed like crab cakes not sure exactly what they were but they were awesome. Then the price started to vary for the same order between 18-23$ I was still okay with that because of the large portions and extras. This year when I got here I was excited to go back to my favourite Chinese food spot only to find everything has changed. I get chicken fried rice and baby shrimp for 17$ (before I had chicken as well and it was only 18$) the food is extremely greasy especially the shrimp I was wiping my mouth every time I ate one. They stopped including the crab cakes and i’m just not impressed anymore what was once a delicious bargain is now overpriced slop.
Loyal-Long time customers for a good reason!. We moved from Upstate NY in 1997, and were immediately in search of new takeout places. Wok Out isn’t even a mile down the road, so of course we tried it. After 17 years, we have only had a handful of problems, which were corrected right away. The entire family who works there, as well as the other employees are always friendly, prompt and aim to please. There were a few times we tried other places and quickly went back to Wok Out. Anyone I know who’s eaten there has loved it as well. Friends and family who moved away or live elsewhere have WokOut on their to do list every time they visit. They aren’t perfect, but pretty close every time!
Ruth. I agree, the food is decent here. Im from Jersey and it took me about 2 yrs to find an acceptable chinese place that compares to up north BUT the people that work there or who own it are definitely not friendly at all. it made me go across the street. I hate bad customer service
Pleasantly Pleased. Best Chinese I’ve had in 4 years. I was a little skeptical about ordering after reading the reviews on this place but I decided to go ahead I ordered the vegetarian broccoli with Szechuan sauce and rice with the crab Rangoons. I placed it to be delivered and it around within 25 minutes when initially they said it would take about 45 minutes. The broccoli seemed very fresh and the rice was very warm. Job well done Wok Out and I will be placing another order soon
Don’t Bother. We ordered our food for pick up. When we walked into the unbearably hot restaurant we were greeted with an employee cutting his finger nails at a table and another sleeping on the other table. When the gentleman completed cutting his fingernails he walked around the kitchen grabbed a newspaper and moved to the table designated for sleeping and left his nail clippings on the other table. After getting our food (we had already paid) we went home. There were no sauces in the bag and the egg roll seemed to have a ton of ginger in it. Our dinners were scorching hot which is the best part of the meal. My beef and broccoli was salty and the meat was soggy and extremely soft and the vegetables tasted like plastic. After three bites I gave in and tossed it out. I love Chinese food but I would not order here again.
COOL FOOD!. The food is SOOO good! Their chicken is awesome, plus the Sweet & Sour sauce hits the spot. The white rice is soft & delicious. With the duck sauce, it is even better! I recommend cutting the hush puppies and putting butter on them.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! R&I age 9
