I came across this quaint spot while getting my windows tinted next door…both were great experiencesAwesome service, totally reasonable prices, huge portions….Brought half home and boyfriend was amazed!!!Will definitely go back!! All they need is an awesome skinny margarita to accompany the delicious food…

Really good Latin food. Guy said overprIced, but they have 5.99 lunch specials, and I don’t remember $10 soup? Anybody who eats a the Olive Garden doesn’t know what real food is. We had them cater corporate events, and the food was awesome. I had some memorable meals there, so I think all-in-all it’s worth it, I especially like the stewed Mexican beef dish, nice spicy kick, and they do a great job with seafood. Better than these so-called fish mongers with kitchens.

Good Breakfast. The exterior may keep you away but once inside you will see that La Costa is worth a try. We have been to here several times for breakfast and each time the food has been good. Today we had the Huevos Rancheros, Tamalitos, the Jose Especial (not listed on menu), and the Macheteadas. All were good. The tamalitos had a nice sweet corn flavor. There was a nice sauce on the huevos rancheros. Oddly though what we really enjoy is the little basket of chips with sauce and cheese they serve before your food is delivered. The chips are delicious as is the sauce. The soups they prepare each day look and smell delicious. In fact, we may have to go back tonight to get an order of soup for take out because it looked so good. We have ordered take out dinners on occasion- which are also good- but to me the breakfast is the better choice. The only drawback is they are a little slow- especially for take out (dining in not so bad). The place is appears clean and staff are friendly.

This was a great find. We were approached by the owner, explained the menu, then brought samples to our table. This was a true authentic restaurant with a great menu. A 10 out of 10 experience, nothing bad to say.

Repeat customer. I love the cozy unique environment. I dont come here in a rush. I come when I want to to relax and enjoy myself. One thing I would change are the red beans. I have had better. Other than that I love it. Pupusas are awesome.

Overpriced food…. Extremely expensive for a restaurant located at a hole in the wall in Davie. Waitresses are slow and kind of dumb with no smile and customer service skills. Food is ok but it may taste different from time to time because the chef seems to be a different one every month. It is the most expensive rice and beans you would eat here. OVER PRICED. Baleadas are just tortillas, beans and sour cream, but the price it is like paying for prime good old american rib. A rip off definitely…26 Jan, 2013Too expensive for a community restaurant. I like the food. i just have a problem paying $10 bucks for a soup. i think all the food is over priced. i can get for the same money better food at olive garden. owners think it is the best food in the world. actually not, it is salty, overpriced and they are taking advantaged of the honduran people…..pollo tropical is a better choice….

TVs on the wall tuned to – was it Honduran dance? Honduran folk art maybe? – No, sorry, it was TNT Sports! And the music – also inauthentic, consisting of 100% American country music (including two really old songs by Glen Campbell). Don’t waste your time here. Broward County has much, much better places than this.
