Myers, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food a rant & rave.I ordered the Philly cheese steak 9.99 and 2 bucks extra with steak fries.This is my rave.This is the BEST phylly sandwich I have had here in SWFL since leaving SF. Bay. . It was on a great loaf of bread. The size was perfect. The mushrooms were fresh…onions grilled correctly. Cheese melted just right.OMG the steak fries were big and just crispy enuff….Oh yes Kati my server was the perfect Buckette’ girl.Now my rant… They serve wings…I am not a fans in general of wings.But they CLAIMED of a suicide sauce……EEEEEHHHHHHWRONG…..It was only a maybe step above Tabasco sauce. Too much vinegar in general.When the mood for a Philly hits me I know where to go. !!!
Buckets sucks. I had not been to buckets in several years when time were good but just like everything else everybody is cutting costs. i was on my way home and was going to be close to buckets and i ordered 20 mile wings togothey said it would be about 15 minutes . i got there in less than10 minutes paid for my wings they were ready.i took the less than 10 minute ride home opened the box and the wings were well done and there were only a few that could be eaten . so they have lost my future business that was on a saturday at about 6 pm and the place only had a few couples there that should have been my warning
Bad Choice. The last 2 times we have gone to Bucketts the food and service have been terrible. Last night, the wings came with no hot sauce. When asked to correct this matter, they came back cold and dipped in hot sauce. The pizza did not have the 4 toppings we requested. The reply of the waitress was that she had turned in the order and it was not correct. The service was slow and the food was terrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Wings are great and the service is wonderful. They do have one of the best pizzas around, 1/2 price on Sunday as well.
Not impressed. Actually have lived close to it for years and never tried it until the other night. We ordered wings and they were just ok. Nothing great and extremely greasy, overpriced and they got the order wrong. We wont be back.
GiL. Was checking out local eateries in Fort Myers and came across a single bad review for Bucketts. I am surprised. The fare is neighborhood pizza, salads (chicken or fish) dogs and burgers. It is consistently good for such an inexpensive menu. A very friendly atmosphere. But definitely not for the pretentious.I have to believe the other reviewer’s experience was an extreme rarity.CIAO.
The fish was the worst I have had anywhere. The place was packed and the server was friendly and apologetic. Left entire meal almost untouched
