Good drinks bad food. Had bad stomachs after eating here and the food wasn’t worth the consequences!
Cool place. My wife and i stopped in early on a Friday night. Not many people in the place, We were seated right away. To the reviewer before me, you should have got the queso, my wife still talks about it. We got our food very quickly. Fish tacos were above average. Chips were warm and fresh. I hate cilantro so the salsa didnt do it for me. Just my taste I’m sure. Two older women sat next to us and were extremely rude to our waiter for some reason. Poor guy, he handled it well. I oversaw their entire visit and I saw no reason for them to have any complaints. To each their own but people need to get their heads around this Golden Rule thing! The waitstaff genuinely wanted us to enjoy our meal and it showed.
Delicious. The menu had a good amount of variety. Food was delicious! Guacamole wasn’t the greatest, but the salsa was definitely fresh and tasty! Queso looked really good on another table, and we wish we would have gotten that instead of the guac. Didn’t skimp on the meat in the enchiladas, or anything else really. Everyone was happy with their order. Will definitely return on our next trip to the island.
The homemade salsa was some of the best I’ve had. The vegetables were crisp and fresh, but it could have used a little bit more heat. I ordered the chimichangas which were perfectly fried. If you’re looking for some tex-next while you’re in the island, check Cantina Captiva out.
So much potential. The restaurant is dark and dingy. It could use some updating. The guacamole wasn’t fresh. It’s pricey! The shrimp tacos were excellent. The drinks were good.
Excellent food. Service slow but we went Cinco de Mayo and they only had 2 servers
Food is good but chips n salsa cost mucho dinero so just stick with the entrees. Awesome feel and good vibes happening at this Catina!
