An interesting place to eat but you better expect to wait. Things are slow here this is Island time. Waitresses mostly hospitable although one can really get your goat. Daily Specialties reasonably priced but most are just fried. Peanut butter pie the best in the world however worth it definitely deep south Florida Cracker ambiance. A little dirty but not bad at all given Island food. The very best people watching site on the North End. Shrimpers, mullet man and Harley bikers.

ALICH. We love eating at Captain Con’s! We stay at Bocilla Island Club and either walk or ride our bikes to the restaurant at least one time a week. The waitresses are knowledgeable of the menu. We’ve never had a bad meal and the homemade pies are to die for! If you read the history of the building, you’ll find that it IS very old, right by the water, and has withstood many a nasty storm! Is it fancy? No! Is it clean? Well, as clean as this kind of building can be! This is OLD Florida – with very tasty food!

Very mediocre and restaurant is dirty. One thing I did notice is that the freezer where they store the icy glasses for beer has ice in it about 4 inches thick. They are going to burn the place down because the freezer never shuts down and will overheat. Not a very clean place. The food is just acceptable.

Best thing is the view. We ate there today and we were very disappointed we ordered french fries and fish. It was the worst food I have ever eaten. Best part was the view but I didn’t have to spend $34 to get that

BEST FOOD SWFL. Well this has to be the best tasting food , since coming to SWFL. And the view of the ocean is outstanding.I order the Saturday special 3 pieces of fried fish with a side of homemade potato salad. MMMM good. The fish was cooked to a golden brown and hot / moist on the inside. Potato salad ahhhh good. Firm potatoes with a tangy mayo dressing . They even had malt vinegar like a REAL British fish & chip place.20 yards from the water and to a small pier. Great location for a date.People were soooo friendly and nice.Only draw back about 15 mile from Cape Coral. So only once a week trip. :-(Give this place a try you will not be disappointed.

Service was somewhat slow. However food was good and the atmosphere must’ve been what it was like 50 years ago in Florida overall good experience

My favorite seafood place…. This is my favorite seafood restaurant in the Fort Myers area. The location is very cool. It is a bit of a drive but worth it. It sits on the northern tip of Pine Island right next to the water. We always go right before sunset and stand on the dock (right out front) then watch the sunset. The building itself is a little old, but clean. It is said to be haunted.I would recommend the coconut shrimp (the dipping sauce is the tops) and key lime pie for dessert.
