Okay. This place is great! …Sometimes. The first time I went I was really impressed. All of the bakery items look scrumptious! I’ve ordered breakfast both times and the food was great. What I didn’t like is the service. The last time I went, the waitress didn’t even make eye contact with me or my wife. She was obviously in the weeds, but that does NOT mean to sacrifice the service to the people paying you! I was so ticked off by the end that I had forgotten how great the food was. Little things like filling my water up are nice. Having to yell at you running by my table to get water in my peashooter of a water glass is not nice.
Great service. Awesome sandwiches. The clam chowder last Friday was some of the best I’ve had.
A Good Find. We are always looking for a good mom & pop breakfast place and European-American Bakery Cafe is the place to go! I ordered the fried egg BLT with the garlic aioli spread. It was delicious and made correctly as ordered. The service was prompt and very friendly. All their pastries are made in their bakery so we had to take some home! We will definitely revisit this gem.
Delicious! The portabella mushroom bisque was amazing! The service was lovely. A great little place for lunch. I will definitely be back.
Bit Over Priced. I had a small bowl of soup and wife had small sandwich and one drink. Bill was over $20. Could have had Sweet Tomatoes where we could have had anything we wanted for about $8.00 a person.
So good!. As I sit here typing, I think of my fave sandwich – Caprice Chicken w/ Rustic Vegs and my mouth waters… 🙂 From the delicious Portuguese roll to the perfectly cooked chicken to the delicious veggies, it’s just amazing. Of course they have many delicious things on the menu and even more in their pastries. It may be a little more expensive but it’s definitely worth it.
