Best ribs! Not some creepy meat drowned in sauce. Food is always great. I do enjoy the new sweet sauce as well as the traditional tangy one. I love the recent additions to the menu. Try the fried tenderloin sandwich! If you like BBQ beef give it a try, but it is a leaner more dry cut. I prefer the pork sandwich. Always a joy! Chicken is awesome. I suppose you could say I’m a huge fan!
Disappointed. I wanted to like this family run establishment, but I could not. The ribs were dry, French fries soggy, hush puppies over cooked and salad dressing was brought out to the table in a to-go ‘hidden valley’ plastic container. The bright side was the biscuits were fantastic though. I would go somewhere else.
Not as good as it was yrs ago. Good but just not as good as it was yrs ago. Loved the coleslaw!
Decent food, poor service, not attentive nor friendly. Awful ambience, owners don’t seem to care. All about the $, not the customer.
Customer service lacking. We used to patronize this restaurant every week, all year round until two weeks ago when an offer posted on the Internet was not offered when we went to the restaurant. For less than $ 3.00 and no response from the owners, two very loyal customers have been lost. Go somewhere else where the customers are appreciated.
This place is awesome. This is a Fort Myers staple that’s been around since 1956. The prices are beyond reasonable, the portions are just fine (if you’re really hungry or large, get dinners, not sandwiches), and the sauce is very unique. If you hate it, they will give you sweet sauce they store in the back, but I love it. It’s all about the sauce. They DO take credit and debit cards now. Order a pork sandwich, tack on a few sides, and thank me later. Or get the ribs. There’s a lot of meat on those ribs. Then finish up with homemade coconut cream pie. Or the key lime. Best key lime I’ve ever had.
Place was horrible. We were so excited to try it as we are huge bbq lovers. Good was dry, sauce taste like vinegar and we left hungry. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Extremely disappointed
