Salad served in paper bowl and plastic fork. Food just average.
Lunch is always good at the Loose Caboose. Located inside the old Railroad Depot in the heart of downtown Boca Grande, this place reeks of train memorabilia. We always get the Reubens and there is a choice between Corned Beef or Turkey. Be sure to ask for Thousand Island dressing on it if you like that, otherwise they will put some kind of mustard on it. Nostalgic and sweet, love the old time ambience of this place. Inside or outside dining available. Love it!
We have owned a home on the island for 9 years and we always go to The Loose Caboose for our first lunch when we visit. Staff is friendly, food always yummy. If they are open for dinner, def go, different than their lunch menu. So good.

Always good. Simple, casual and the food is always good. You sit outside on a porch that overlooks the town center. The staff is efficient, the food is fresh.
Best Grouper In Florida. I have lived in Florida for a total of 13 yrs.. I’ve eaten a LOT of grouper and so called grouper. They have by far the best grouper sandwhich. If you are lucky to be there when they have their lobster bisque and their lobster croissant you MUST get them. Also amazing icecream with fun flavors.
