Poor service. We were met with a sign in person who seemed to disappear as people came. The smartest people were those who walked away. When we were finally seated, our waitress greeted us with an excuse…it’s kind a busy as I observed empty tables near us. We put in our order quickly. An hour later we were still waiting for our entrees. We had to ask for silverware. We had to wait for water. I asked to speak to a manager, but that didn’t happen. She screwed up our bills. We watched as people who came in after us were served and out the door. We have been to many restaurants in the area over the last six weeks, this one is a nightmare.
We were told a 15im wait, 45im. Later still waiting so we left26 Jan, 2015Terrible wait time,arrived at 12:10 and still waiting at 12:45! On 1/26! Hostess not efficient and rude.
Service is about the worst in fort Myers! Last night was the last topping on the cake. The waitress offered the happy special to me, but the bill came and said I just missed it. Well why offer then! The time before that the waitress want to make sure I was leaving a tip because she didn’t see it on my debit card. Will never be going back!
AWFUL: waited and watched 6 tables come in and get their food while we waited. Manager brought food and said he we take care of it. Never seen him again! Then the food we did get was cold and unedible. Waitress didn’t seem to notice we couldn’t eat it, just presented the check. I left hungry but wiser!
Eggs underdone, bacon overdone, little sugar on French toast … service good, even excellent
Interior is inviting and warm. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was very good and a little different from the usual fare. I had the Patience Omelettes and it was delicious.
This was my 2nd visit to Mimi’s. The first time the food was good but the server was a but fickle and standoffish. Unfortunately this visit was a very bad experience. Although we were seated immediately we waited fo a very long time for our food. We were never served the complimentary bread basket until we asked for it and when we finally got it, it came with our meal. We waited around 30 minutes for our food. The food was unfortunately overcooked. One person dining with me ordered the pork chops, which had a good flavor but were dry and overcooked. I had the fish and chips, which were also dry and overcooked. I have never had chewy Haddock before, but all the moisture was gone from them. Even while we waited the server was far less than attentive. I can honestly say this will probably be my last time here unless I hear there has been a change in management or ownership.
