Great Vegetarian choices. We found this restaurant quite by accident on our way to Sanibel… definitely worth the stop. There are lots of great vegetarian choices, a fantastic falafel wrap being one of them. The veggie platter was really good with some of the best baba ghannoush and hummus we have ever had. I would highly recommend eating at Pita Palace… a really great find for vegetarians!
Oustanding!. Pita Palace is a family-oriented restaurant. When I sat down to a very delectable meal, I was catered by a woman named Michelle and her wonderful daughter, Selina. Their service was remarkable, and the food was oustanding, I literally felt comfortable and will definiatly will be back soon!
Steak wrap -meat chewy. How long has it been marinating? Too long.
Overall Disappointed. Plenty of great reviews for this restaurant but overall we we’re disappointed. The service was very good, friendly and attentive but the food and atmosphere were another story. We’ve eaten some outstanding Lebanese food over the years and this wasn’t even close. The lamb kabob was just bland and while I was expecting, per the menu, char-grilled lamb what I received was closer to microwaved lamb. This meat had absolutely never seen a grill nor, apparently, seasonings and wasn’t even warm, just barely above room temperature. Same for the baba ghanoush, it was simply tasteless, no hint of garlic let alone any other seasonings. A friend had the veggie platter and said that while it was OK it wasn’t worth a return visit. The salad dressing was very, very good but there was a rotting tomato in the salad and our server did not seem particularly concerned when we pointed it out. The French fries were also very good. To top it off we got to listen to both a really loud, sometimes obnoxious, radio station and the TV’s volume going up then down, up then down, repeatedly while a movie played!! I know this is a casual restaurant but pick one, or better yet, neither.
Excellent falafel. Good service. Great chicken pita.
AMAZING. My family is from Columbus Ohio and we vacation to Fort Myers a few times a year. We just discovered the Pita Palace after shopping at Publix our first day on spring break. We were so impressed that we’ve gone back quite a few times during our stay here! The food is amazing, the employees were extremely friendly and personable, and the prices are low! Two Greek men there eating said they bypass all of the Greek restaurants in town for this place because the others just don’t compare. If you’re looking for the best wrap or pita, this is the spot for sure!
Love this restaurant. You have to try this wonderful restaurant. Best tasting that I have found anywhere in the USA!! Try the Gyro wrap you won’t be disappointed,,,
