Reds. It is a bit pricey but the food there is second to none. For a cheap meal the big burrito is the best I’ve ever had.
Disgusting. Don’t do it, save your money, you’ll get a better meal, better atmosphere, and better service for a better price just about anywhere you go. Disappointed all around after hearing such good things from friends. Food was cold and disgusting. Never again.
Just plain bad and expensive. Weird place. Seemed very expensive with small portions. My wife ordered Scallops for 25 bucks That is what came. She got 4 mushy under cooked scallops on a plate. I ordered some dish for another 25 bucks and it was not good. The only thing I ate were the shrimp I left the scallops and most of the fish. The fish was stuck to the plate it was cooked in and the scallops were mushy. The waiter did not seem to care . He never once asked why I did not touch most of my food. There was no atmosphere and nothing that made you feel welcome. I have heard good things about Reds but I did not have a good experience. Bad food… No atmosphere,… expensive. Not what I look for in a place to eat.
Rude management! I went to Red’s with a friend who just moved here the food was mediocre and expensive. The bartender was quite rude, And when mentioned to management, I was told there are other restaurants you can go to. It was appalling. I see other locals have had the same treatment from the management. It’s sad they treat people spending money,in September, no less the slowest month of the year, so poorly. Will never go back. There are restaurants who appreciate their customers!!!!!
Great seafood, great service. We recently went to Red’s and had a wonderful experience and meal. Having lived in SW Florida so long I can’t believe we hadn’t tried it before now and will definitely be back. Living in Fort Myers I think of Pine Island as a long way but it really only took us 20 minutes from town and was worth the easy drive via Veterans Parkway. We started with the clams and they were excellent. Thank goodness they give you fresh bread to use to dip into the delicious sauce. The caesar salad had just the right amount of dressing. The entrees were really good. We had the mermaid platter overflowing with fried seafood, the broiled seafood platter – which I wanted to steal from my husband it looked so good – and the Triple Tail Picatta and Milanese. Can’t wait to go back and try the steamer platter after how good the clams were. And, if you don’t like seafood or have a guest that doesn’t, no worries. They have plenty of land items that looked really good as well. The key lime pie was really creamy and delicious too. Our server was very polite, engaging and helpful – as were everyone we came in contact with, even the owner. We will definitely be back, especially before season!
Poor Service and Qualtiy. We wanted to try something new so we ventured out to this part of the island for a small birthday party and what a disappointment. My and party and I all went online to there direct website to view the menu and specials before we got there so we would all know what we wanted to order. BEWARE the online menu has not been updated for quite some time. I did ask our server about the one item I did want due to the price and selection that I could eat with being healthy and on a budget. I was told they no longer can do that. Seeing that was unaccepted I asked for a manager and got the same response like I did not matter and it did not matter what was on there website. Being it has been a week since I was there I wanted to see if they would change the menu online and still it has not been done. What a surprise. Also my other guests were very unhappy with the service and quality of the food. Please make sure you ask how much everything is before you decide to order due to everything is extra and at a great price. Side Salad 4.50 Rally. Lets just say It is hard for to believe that they are still open.
