Went here with our family of 7 last night. The live music was the best. We all got up and danced and had an amazing time! The kids just had dessert, lava cake and marble cheesecake was great! The buffalo shrimp appetizer was great. We also had the margarita pizza and enjoyed that too. Service and food made for a great fun night for the family.

One more thing: ask for our favorite bartender, Matt!10 Jun, 2014Love the Mai Tais and seafood salad. Not as crazy about the grouper bites. The 9 pm crab races are best when drunk — the guy is definitely rude but I think that’s part of his schtick.

Loved it. We went there a week ago and liked everything about the place. Mike our waiter was very knowledgeable about the food and the hostess stopped by to talk about the sunset. The food was very tasty. I had the lobster/shrimp and crab salad and it was full of seafood and not overly coated in the salad dressing. The seafood tasted very fresh. I had a glass of Reisling that was very good. My husband had a hamburger and said it was one of the best he’s had. I didn’t read any reviews prior to going so didn’t really know what to expect. Now after reading some I am surprised by the negative reviews. As for the price, I felt they were reasonable for where we are and the view you get. We will definitely be going back.

Disappointing and over priced. Visited this restaurant and had the ‘fresh’ grouper sandwich and my husband had the blackened mahi mahi….fish was overcooked, dry and burnt in parts..lemon sauce was tasteless and rice pilaf was rubbery and shrimp was tough…Definitely a waste of money…Wait staff was snooty and rude!!!!

My family and I have eaten here twice this week and we all feel the food is awesome. The blackened Mahi Mahi was fabulous and my kids loved the ribs and burgers. Great atmosphere too and although there is an over-18 rule for the adult crab-racing show, the humour is not crude and I was happy to let my 13 &16 year old kids eat there during the event. Service was great too. Attentive without being overbearing. My only criticism is that $50 for american sparkling wine (don’t call it Champagne because it isn’t) is a little excessive. However, we will be going back this week for the BBQ Special…

Crab Racing!. We had a great time at the Crow’s Nest during our last visit to the island. We chose to drive over from Sanibel to have dinner and stay for the famous ‘crab races’. We chose the later adults only version, but they do offer a kid-friendly race earlier in the evening. You basically pay a few dollars to bet on a hermit crab while a host tells jokes and picks on the audience. We did have dinner before the races, and is was very good. They had a nice selection of entrees, and the food was nicely presented. The service was good and friendly, and the prices are on par with the rest of the island (on the high side, but what can you do?)

Good food and service. Not spectacular food but safe and tasty.
