Joe B from N Ft Myers. I have been there several times and try something new each time. I haven’t been disappointed. It is a bit of a drive for me but it is the well worth it. The food is unique and the portions are much larger than expected. The staff are very sociable and make you feel welcomed as soon as you enter. It is not on the main highway but easy to find using a GPS.
GREAT place for lunch!. We pick up lunch for everyone in the office from here every week. It’s always good and we love the consistency. Plus there’s unique specials everyday…and don’t even get me started on the desserts! They’ve just evil.
FabulosI. I just indulged in a guava and cheese puff pastry and it was the best I have ever had! It actually had flavor and wasn’t too sweet. The owner is Tony and was super nice! I’ll be back!
GREAT FOOD. I have eaten here many times and to be fair and forthcoming, the owners are friend’s of mine, but I wouldn’t go out on a limb and tell you that the food is great ALL THE TIME, if it wasn’t. I love supporting local businesses and especially ones that provide such a quality product at such a great price. They put their heart and soul into everything they serve. I promise you a great meal and nice people who will appreciate your business far more than the chain restaurants.
Excellent. The Gathering Place is well worth getting off the beaten path. I am a big fan of the grilled cheese sandwich, and you must try Shawns cinnamon buns! The Staff is the best! I have and will continue to visit here!
Simply ‘More’. I’ve eaten here on multiple occasions, both breakfast & lunch, and it has always been great food with a fun and lively staff. Everyone I’ve introduced to The Gathering Place has also come back for more. Once you find this hidden gem, you will be back again and again too.Tony, Shawn & Mrs. Anita are are a winning combination for some great home cooking with their own special touches. Everything on the menu is fantastic but make sure to check out the daily specials, including the spinach pie.Thank you for great food at a great value with great people.
