Three diet Cokes – each tasted different and off. Waitress looked visibly disappointed when I told her I had a Groupon for our lunch. My wife noticed it also. We had diet cokes as a beverage and each of the three tasted way off flavor and distinct from one another. How is that even possible? Do not order sodas there. They do not refill the $1.99 fountain soda unless you ask. The fries were great. My gyros sandwich was good. The chicken in my wife’s sandwich was so off flavor she asked me to try it and yes, it tasted fishy. She ate no more. Empty restaurant at lunch on a Wednesday, less than good service, questions about the chicken and sodas. Too many good places to spend money and get better food but the fries were spot on. We will not go back but wish them the best and hope for their sake they get it together.

Amazing!. I’ve been looking for a great Greek place for weeks. You know, home made hummus, chunks of feta, flavorful olives and lamb for days. We tried a few and were disappointed with the greasy diner food. When we got to Plaka 2 we were happy to see it was near some other good restaurants. THe inside decor is kitchy Greek, love it. My boyfriend and I got hummus and pita to start. It was delicious! The hummus was super garlicky and the pita bread was fluffy and delicious. The waitress said she made the hummus herself! My boyfriend got the gyro, the tzatki sauce was excellent, and the lamb was perfectly seasoned. I got pastichio, the bchamel sauce on top was positively fluffy and the hint of nutmeg was excellent. My only complaints were the music playing (I like a little authentic music but this was rough), and the waitress was a slow with refills. We will definitely be going back!
New management. My friends i know there was a lot of problems with the Plaka 2. Since me and my family took over the place we spend a lot of time cleaning and fixing the place like it has to be. I recommend to come and take a look with your self the changes we made. You wont disappoint. Thanks again and hope to see you soon.
