The food is usually authentic and taste very good and is prepared well. The last two trip have had terrible service. A carry out a week ago took and extra hour because I had a gift certificate and the cashier didn’t know how to process it. The food was cold and my home is 5 minutes away. Last night ordered again 35 minute extra wait because my order was given away. So I waited. When I got my order and went home it was the wrong order and cold again. I called they said when you come back in we will make it right???? Why would they think I would come back in? 2 tries would you go back for a third try? $66 later and didn’t eat either time. Try at you own risk. This is my first review in 7 years.
Skip it. Read an article in the paper about this restaurant. It was not a review just informational. I had the eggplant parm . it was mushy and all the breading came off of it. The spaghetti sauce was bland and too tomatoey. Husbbbannd had the seafood dish that was just okay. The bread was flavorless and ambiance is okay. Its in a strip mall. On the upside the service was very good. I try to do local whenever I can but i could have gotten tastier food at the olive garden.
We were excited to try the new healthy menu and willing to pay extra for gluten free pasta. When they mistakenly swapped the GF spaghetti for fettucini, we thought no biggie. 45 minutes later we were handed the wrong meals AGAIN $100 for mediocre food and poor overall service. Most surprising was the owner/chef admitting the mistake but not offering to do anything to make it right.
Sat down at 5:45. Waitress took our order at 6:01 and wouldn’t honor the entree special price that last from 4-6 on weekdays.
Superb pizza!!. My husband and I stopped in the other night not knowing what the expect. We were greeted right away by the smiling, happy bartender, so we sat at the bar. The menu is the real Italian deal! We decided on a pizza, and we were blown away by the fresh ingredients, and flavorful sauce! We can’t wait to go back to try all the other dishes! Oh, and forgot to mention how nice John, the owner was! He came out of the kitchen just to ask how our pizza and dining experience was! Class act!
After months of my boyfriend and I driving past here on our way out of Publix, we finally decided to give it a shot. We walked inside and there were maybe a total of 5 people in the restaurant, we waited for the bartender, who I’m assuming was also the host tonight, to seat us. She got our drink orders and went to go get them. Now my boyfriend and I both have Italian heritage in our families so you could say we are brats when it comes to Italian food, we decided to order simple and he got the Vodka sauce pasta and I ordered the Chicken Piccata, I asked for angel hair but they didn’t have any, just spaghetti. What kind of Italian place doesn’t have angel hair? First of all, let’s start with the salads, his balsamic vinaigrette wasn’t horrible but wasn’t amazing either. The house Italian is just olive oil and some herbs that are at the very bottom, this did not make for an appetizing salad. The bread was nothing to write home about either, you’d think there would be garlic knots or something like that but no, just plain old hard bread with garlic butter or something like that. Now entree time, we were both pretty excited considering we both worked all day and were exhausted. He gets his pasta and takes a bite, it’s okay but we’ve had better ones from a jar, and I read that everything is fresh ingredients. I take a bite of my chicken piccata and immediately notice that it is pretty blan and there is something that tastes pretty off, I keep eating hoping that it gets betteras you go along until I finally figure it out, the chicken is not fully cooked. Now had we actually been asked more than once in the beginning of the meal how it was, I would have had a chance to complain before my boyfriend just said that we needed to just pay the check and leave. The bartender/waitress/host came over to drop off the check, my boyfriend had his debit card ready and she took it right away, and brought it back right away. I feel bad that we didn’t leave more for her but already spending $40 on dinner and not having good food or service kind of sealed her fate. We will never be going back here again and we are going to pass the word along to others as well! Revamp your staff, restaurant decor, and especially food and maybe you’ll actually be busy at night.
Rotten Food & Poor Service. Chicken was rotten (tasted terribly sour). Waiter tasted it and spit it out. He recommended another dish-it was ok. Expected the entre to be comped at the least. Was charged for entire dinner, but given two coupon cards for free drink with purchase of entre. REALLY! Should have comped entire dinner. Had to wait for a drink while waiter talked to someone at bar about his dog. Bartender ended up bringing it. Wont be back.
