Great fish food. We enjoyed the food and the amount, price was great.Since our first visit we been back 4 more times.
Boiled shrimp was very good. I got them spicy. Fish and shrimp platter was large but the shrimp very small. Everything tasted great. Would definitely come here again.
Diamond in the rough!. I had a friend introduce this place to us about a year ago. When I first walked in, I felt unsure because it wasn’t a whole lot to look at. However, once the food was served, I realized that this place was a diamond in the rough! The hordes of people who wait in the lobby area for a table during busy times is a good indication of the goodness to come for people willing to be patient! They are very generous with the fish-I usually can’t eat everything on the $7.99 platter, so there’s no point in my getting the all you can eat $9.99 special. I’ve tried the tilapia and flounder, both fried and blackened. Both are great, but the flounder is my personal favorite. The sides I have tried-baked potatoes, fried okra, and cole slaw are all good. The iced tea is weak, and I do wish they’d improve on that, but it’s still 5-stars in my book. I also understand that most people like their iced tea weaker than I like it. We live a half an hour away, but every time we go to Leesburg, we make it a point to stop here. I also like how it’s right across from the airport, so we can just run across 441 if we fly our little Piper in! I highly recommend this place to everybody. It even beats Al’s Landing in Tavares, just minus the water view.
Always a good experience so far. The 2 for $20 is a great deal, a lot of food. Pleasant service, the place isn’t much to look at but who cares. I’ve tried the shrimp and flounder, both very good. It’s kind of in the middle of nowhere, but its worth the trip!
I had the Alabama catfish and it was not great…didn’t really care for the restaurants atmosphere either — would not recommend.
