Great food.. Terrible service!. Food is amazing.. The Cuban sandwich is to die for! But the staff is incredibly rude.. One of the servers was very nice but the rest were not. Food is definitely worth the bad service.. Just get it to go!
Was not greeted when walking into restaurant. Waitress never asked If I would like a drink till she was taking my order. Very unfriendly. Sat with a empty drink for nearly 5 minutes, then had to grab her attention. Food was great, service was the worst ever. Menus are poorly designed, falling apart and dirty. Will not be eating here again.
Great!. Great Cuban Sandwiches!
Very good. We shared the skirt steak and shrimp (with garlic mashed potatoes and mixed veggies), Cuban sandwich, and their special sandwich (steak and pork) and had it delivered. The steak was tasty and the shrimp were great. The sides were both very good (the veggies could have been more seasoned-but I understand some are concerned with sodium intake). I’ll definitely be trying other entrees, but I know I’ll return to this one, too.We had to try the Cuban, the measuring stick of every Cuban restaurant, and we were not upset. Another one that will definitely be on the list of things to order. The Special sandwich was a pleasant surprise. The menu only listed steak (for protein), but came with pork, also. It was very tasty, but by the time it was eaten the lettuce, tomatoes, etc had really soaked the bread and it was starting to fall apart. We got it for delivery (requiring that at least $30 is spent, bummer for less than 3 people) and it was delivered in about 45 minutes (they said 30, but I was expecting closer to 45-so I wasn’t disappointed). The fact that there’s a locally owned restaurant that delivers delicious food is amazing. The fact that one has to spend $30 to get it delivered kind of sucks (but you can always order more for left overs). They have their menu online, which is a plus.I will definitely be frequenting this place (or ordering more delivery).
Really like the food. I just had dinner at Azucar and really liked the food. The place was busy, only one person taking orders, serving food, and working the register; but she couldn’t be any nicer. The food was really good and I’m looking forward to another visit when I’m back in town for work.
I was excited to see that this place delivers, the restaurant is only five minutes from the house and I’ve never had Cuban delivery before. The restaurant is very clean and the decor is simple with framed pictures of Cuba and famous Cuban people. There were only two other patrons here but it’s a weekday and we ate around four in the afternoon. The waitress was quick to attend to us and was sweet. We ordered ropa vieja with congri and maduros. The food came out quickly and was steaming hot. I am not exaggerating when I say it tasted like my family’s cooking (Cuban Dan) and I was more than satisfied. We both ate everything and I had some espresso after my meal. Definitely eating here again and ordering delivery!
Not much into Cuban food but it’s very authentic. Not bad. Prices are reasonable and it’s clean.
