We don’t charge for refills on fountain drinks. I am the owner of La Valentina Mexican Restaurant. I am responding to the comment about us charging for refills. We do not charge refills on FOUNTAIN sodas. We do sell bottled soft drinks that are priced per item. This includes bottled Coca Cola. We also do not offer refills for our homemade Horchata. Also, he mentioned that he was charged for cheese on 7 tacos. The regular tacos come with onions and cilantro. Anything extra is charged. Just like they would at any other restaurant. When you buy wings at Hooters and order blue cheese, they charge extra for that. I’m sorry for your bad experience with those items. We do offer cheese, lettuce and sour cream on our Gringo Tacos, please feel free to try them next time. Also, remember that if you want refills on your soda, order from the fountain. We hope that you try us again!
As much as I love their food, we were in for a rude awakening when we got the check tonight. A small glass of Diet Coke was $2.50. No big deal right? EVERY refill was also $2.50. No one let us know about their policy change on refills. We added a small sprinkling of cheese on each of our 7 taco. That was an extra $1.00 per taco. Love the food, not sure we’ll be back.

My mom had a coupon, so we went in on Sunday afternoon to try it out…we had Chorisoqueso app, that was very tasty, and a Mojito (drinks r a deal @ $3.49, they have wine, sangria & around 6 select mixed drinks), ordered Chimichanga w/shredded pork & Burrito La Valentina w/Pastor, (pork w/onion & pineapple)all tasted so very delicious & fresh…the service was very friendly & accomodating, too, we will return!
Some of the best Mexican food in SW Florida. The staff is very friendly & knowledgeable. The only recommendation I have is they start serving frozen Margeritas. I would strongly recommend this restaurant.
