The Smoke Ribs I Love H&H. The best ribs and chicken in the world
The chopped pork tasted like beef jerky.. I visited today after driving by all week. I was disappointed. The baked beans were too sweet, the potato salad was okay, but the worse part of the plate was the chopped pork. I really don’t think it was cooked today, it broke up in your mouth like beef jerky. Not going there again.
A Mixed Bag. The ribs and potato salad were good at this BBQ joint. The ribs had a nice smoke ring, good flavor and were not over cooked. The potato salad was creamy, had large pieces of boiled egg (which I enjoyed) but needed more seasoning. The pulled pork and greens were another story. The pork tasted like lighter fluid and after a couple of bites I threw it away. I assume they lit the cooker with lighter fluid while the butts were on the grill, and did not give the lighter fluid time to burn off. The greens had bits of the lighter fluid tasting chopped pork mixed in which ruined their flavor. H & H Smokehouse has potential, but needs to sharpen their execution. sweetteaandbourbon.com
