I was simply looking for an apology from the Blu Halo forpromising me food that I paid for but did not receive and for humiliating mychild in front of her friends on her birthday. I pre-ordered two towers and wastold that my order for $350.00 would be as I requested. It was not, AT ALL.After the event ended, the manager approached my teenage daughter in front ofher friends OUTSIDE the establishment about payment. I had already cashed outand attempted to settle any and all charges with the manager myself beforeleaving. I feel that this was totally unacceptable and shows extreme lack ofprofessionalism.When I attempted to call in and speak with someone I gotcursed out, again, by the manager and ignored by the owner. When I finally gotin contact with Andy Donato his only concern was the fact that I had postedvalid negative reviews about the establishment. He offered to give me a partialrefund if I did not post any further which I did not, but now I am being toldthat unless I can take down my honest assessments of my experience they areunwilling to do anything for me at all.All I wanted was an apology.Now I want everyone to know that this is the worstexperience I have ever had in dealing with any establishment. My brother is adecorated chef and can tell you that the food was sub-par at best and theservice was absolutely horrifying. If you are looking for and exquisiteculinary experience in Tallahassee, Florida choose Z Bahardis instead!!!!! Saying I will never go to this restaurant is anunderstatement. I will make sure that every person I know is aware of howunprofessional and inadequate this establishment is.Owner Anthony Donato is more interested in silencing patronopinions than taking a brief moment to acknowledge their concerns.
Best steak in town. Loved the appetizers (crab, oysters, goat cheese). We had 4 different main courses: steak, swordfish, grouper, shrimp pasta. We all sampled each main course and all agreed that all were wonderful except the shrimp pasta. Pasta tasted oddly different and had 4 medium shrimp. Skip the pasta, you won’t go wrong on any of the others. Superb service. Will definitely return.
This place is out of my norm, but very nice. Expect to spend $50 per person if you want steak. The crab cakes were delicious, well-seasoned and not dry, no filler. The local vegetables are a nice touch too, they have great salads and sides here. The interior is clean and fittingly lit with blue lights. The cocktail list is nice, not too big, as is the menu. Order the carrot cake and you will have dessert for three people, LOL. If you are into music and dancing, that is also featured here. A great upscale restaurant for the NE Tallahassee/Bradfordville area.
