Solid four rounded up for exemplary hospitality and spectacular brisket, and I only had a sample Damn it!!! Super warm and friendly; and between the excellent weather and live music, was a really enjoyable experience.Loved the Brunswick stew and the mac and cheese was something special in all its oozy cheesy goodness. Pork tacos had this wonderfully softly sophisticated Polynesian flare to them, those were special too. It’s easy to see, they’re serious about their food and they’re doing something they Love. No doubt about that. Sauces and teas were alright and I made me up a nice Arnold Palmer sans Whiskey and everything was right in the world :)Definitely coming back.
This place and Curbside BBQ are easily the top 2 barbecue providers in town. Not a coincidence that both of them have that country shack look and feel to them as opposed to fancy bells and whistles. If you eat at The Red Shed, you’ll be sitting outside and may be bothered by the flies. If you forsee that as a problem, just eat in your car or take your food to go. Either way, you’ll be enjoying some of the best BBQ Tallahassee has to offer.
