Basic BBQ Popular with Families. Folks in Live Oak like this restaurant. While I was enjoying a platter with chicken and ribs, there were families with kids filling the room and definitely enjoying the time. Ken’s smokes his meats just enough to provide a great smoke flavor in the chicken. The ribs were tender so a slight pull would release the meat cleanly from the bone. The sauces are basic but not needed to enjoy this barbecue. The hot is spicy but not real hot made from a tomato based formula. No desserts in this place. This is a basic meat with sides place. The atmosphere is good and you can find other locations in Lake City and Madison, FL.
