Don’t waste your money on this restaurant. It was good when I first been there and now it like extremely horrible. The food is not fresh, even though it fast and quick and I heard they sell like over weeks food, which is disgusting. So I’m saying that don’t waste your money on it, and this is just like my personal opinion so. Btw If you like Japanense and Chinese, go to Red Star or chopstick.
Will not be returning.. Sakura has been my go to place for sushi for a long time, and its always good. Today i tried the beef udon, and it was horrible. I worked in a stir fry restaurant that served udon noodles, and i can honestly say the ones at Sakura weren’t right. I couldn’t even swallow the one mouth-full i had tried, the consistency was waaay off. The beef was hard, and the udon was incredibly slimy and chewy like bubble gum, they were obviously old or over cooked. I am never one to complain at a resturant or ask to have anything removed from my check, but i didnt want to pay $10 for a meal i couldnt even swallow. I politely told the server my problem and told him i didnt want to have it, he was very kind and apologized and said he would remove it from my check. A moment later the female manager came and told me i was going to pay for it. She said that i had ordered it and because i had done so that i was going to pay. I told her i didnt mind paying for everything else but didnt want to be charged for the plate i couldnt eat. She said i could get a box but had to pay. I said the server took it to the kitchen already, and her solution was to retrieve the plate from the kitchen and box it for me. Of course i dont want an already awful plate but now it had been in the kitchen to be disposed of. After the manager argued with me for 25 minutes she said i couldnt leave till i paid, walked away and brought my check with the $10 crap still on it. So i had just paid $17 for a sushi roll and water. That was the worst service i have ever had and can honestly say i was absolutely offended and will not be returning.

Great Sushi as Always, but…. I’ve been to Sakura many times and both service and food quality have been great. Went for dinner Sunday, July 7th at 5:00pm, and restauant was fairly empty with only two other tables having diners. It’s been a couple months since I was there last and was surprised not to see the usual wait staff and hostess. The waiter we had, must have had a problem understanding our order as we had to reorder an appetizer that didn’t make it out until after the entree’s were finished. Our drinks were never refilled without having to ask, which is very unusual, and overall everything was confusing and very unlike the usual attentive staff.I hope this was just a bad night for the waiter and the usual staff was just off for the night. Anyway the sushi was very good as always, just real disappointed in the service. I’ll be back for another try, just disappointed.

Sushi is Great for the price. You can still get hibachi stuff here, but it is cooked in the kitchen. ALWAYS great service. Not a big restaurant but that makes it better in my opinion.
