We had a party of 4 and sat at the bar top. We were quickly greeted by a friendly young woman that stated that she was a new hire and She seemed anxious to please us. She took our drink orders and provided menus. As we were reviewing the menus this server was putting away bar glasses in an overhead rack directly in front our seats when a wine class came crashing down on the bar sending chards of glass all over. The manager came over and explained to the server that the racks were different sizes and that she put the wine glass in the wrong slot. He further said that the same thing happened to him. Obviously this server did not receive proper training if this was a known and dangerous issue. When we were given our checks we were charged full price and questioned the manager since our experience was less than satisfactory. The manager begrudgingly gave us 10% off the food only. We found this to be unprofessional and not in line with how other chains would handle.

I usually like Bubba Gump in Chicago. This one has slow food delivery and when I got it, it was cold and shriveled like it had been under a heat lamp. Not good. Our server was nice and attentive though.
Good place. Neat little place with a great view on the water and good food. Our server was really friendly and tested up with some Forest Gump trivia while we waited for food.
Little pricey but excellent food. Very cool restaurant in John’s Pass on Madeira Beach. This is the first thing we stopped at before cruising the shops. The have little photo opportunities all over the place which I thought was really cute and totally took advantage of with my boyfriend. We decided to sit outside since it was such a nice day. You think birds would be a problem since it is Florida but they really weren’t that bad. Each one of us got something shrimp related on the menu. All of it was excellent. I got crab stuffed shrimp which just melted in my mouth and was so creamy. Service was okay but it wasn’t a very busy day for them, it being in December, so I understood and was fine with it since we all were enjoying our food so much.
Great Atmosphere. I have visited 3 Bubba Gumps restaurants and they are all about the same. Great atmosphere with okay food. Study up on your Forrest Gump trivia because they will quiz you 🙂
