Fish and Chips. Large fillet of perfectly crisp and flakey fish and hefty serving of just right fries. I’ve had fish & chips everywhere and this is among the best. Even the cup of slaw is specially made.
Disappointed. My wife and I have lived in the area for 5 years. The beach there has been our favorite beach. When they closed the Snack Shack for repairs we could hardly wait for it to reopen. The new place looks nice, but needs friendlier management and staff. Although it looks really nice now, it has lost the fun of going. The final last straw was yesterday. My 60 year old wife rode her bike there, about 4 and a half miles, as she does at least twice a week. After walking the beach for a couple of hours, she was thirsty and out of water. She asked at the Snack Shack if the would refill her 16 oz water bottle. They said it would cost one dollar. To fill HER water bottle. Shame on them!
Relax!. A table, under an umbrella on the patio, a bucket of long necks on ice, a tray of snacks and that is all it takes for a wasted afternoon. You can sit there and forget everything. Problem is, waking up and getting back to the real world.
Picnic tables, bucket of beer under the umbrellas.
Great place to park and spend afternoon at the beach. They have a large open patio with a great view. So much potential! Could add live music!
